Surrey Memorial Hospital

Olympic International partnered with MMM and Fred Welsh Contracting to complete the Surrey Memorial Hospital, which opened in June 2014.  The facility incorporated the latest in green HVAC technology with the supply of 780 Tons of Aermec heat recovery heat pumps, Daikin chillers, air handlers, fan coils, along with 742500 CFM of Scott Springfield Custom Air Handlers.

With more than 35 years of experience in the hydronics industry including design, installation, and service of HVAC equipment and systems, Bill has worked in the industrial, institutional, and commercial sectors. He believes  collaboration with contractors and engineers provides energy efficient hydronic technology and an integrated system approach.

Bill comes to us with an impressive educational background in hydronics including Mechanical Engineering Technology from BCIT as well as training in pumping systems design, radiant system design, augmented with several additional courses in controls, instrumentation, hydraulics, metallurgy, as well as trade certification in “A” gasfitting, power engineering, refrigeration, welding, and electronics.

Bill’s experience includes operating production plants, air balancing, hydronic pump sales, sales management, service and retrofit contractor, project manager, hydronic design, and service technician working on all types of HVAC equipment.

New Project – GTAP – RCMP E Division Headquarters

Olympic International partnered with Cobalt Engineering and Keith Plumbing and Heating to secure the public-private partnership GTAP — RCMP E Division Headquarters located in Surrey, British Columbia.  This 76,162 square meter facility includes a 7 storey purpose based office space for over 2,700 personnel, a high-bay garage / workshop, and a post disaster building.  The facility will meet LEED Gold Certification and will incorporate the latest in green HVAC technology with the supply of McQuay Vision and Skyline Semi-Custom Air Handlers and AAON Roof Top Units.  GTAP is expected to complete December 2012.
