As the CEO of Olympic International Sales, Dana Merritt oversees all operational and corporate functions of the organization.

Dana values integrity and operational excellence and brings teamwork and creativity to her role of guiding the company forward. She joined Olympic International in 2008 and brings over 30 years of experience in operational and financial management.

Dana is a CPA and has a BCom from the University of British Columbia.

Julian joined Olympic International in 2013 bringing extensive contracting sales experience which he developed in two leading HVAC markets (Toronto, Ontario and Dallas, Texas)

Julian’s contracting sales experience has been focused in the commercial and mixed residential hi-rise bid-spec construction market as well as in design-build projects in the commercial and institutional markets.

He finds fulfillment in all aspects of the construction process and with the added hands-on challenges the team faces.  Julian brings innovation and creativity with a commitment to making a difference in delivering a complete solution.

Julian is committed to the development of new employees in the organization and considers ongoing professional growth, training & development vital to reliably delivering exceptional service in an ever-changing marketplace.

Julian graduated in Engineering from McMaster University in 1999.

Known for his energy and solution-oriented approach, Jay is committed to the education and development of both employees and customers. Active in the community, Jay also demonstrates his leadership in the engineering industry at the local ASHRAE chapter, where he is a past president.
Jay joined Olympic International in 2010 and has been actively involved in Commercial, Institutional, Residential, and Retrofit, where his strong focus on engineering sales has led to a wide portfolio of successful projects. His leadership in emerging products includes:

• Cutting edge engineering and laboratory building SFU SE3P
• Residential developments Burrard A and Burrard B, Cap West, and 1401 Hunter Streets
• Low carbon Schools such as Willoughby Secondary School.
• Retrofitting existing institutional buildings such as UBC HEBB
• Zero Carbon facilities like Rodden Lodge

Jay has a Bachelor’s in Applied Science from UBC and a Mechanical Engineering Diploma from BCIT.

Tom has over 17 years of engineering and contracting sales experience with a focus on schools, multi-family, high-rise, office, and institutional work.

Tom’s notable projects in the Lower Mainland and Vancouver Island, include:

• The Paramount Richmond
• Vancouver Mail Processing Plant
• One Water

He is passionate about the success of his clients, creatively working on new technology and ensuring that the projects he works on are delivered with a high level of performance and energy efficiency. Tom graduated with a degree in Mechanical Systems from BCIT.

Dana is passionate about training & development, an integral component of the team’s success. She believes our people are our most valuable asset. Dana has 20 years of experience in the HVAC industry and has been working at Olympic since 2006.  Her experience in Project Management and customer service is over 25 years.  She is the facilitator of the innovative Olympic International Technical Training programs designed to enhance the HVAC knowledge of our industry partners.
