Role Overview:
Olympic International Sales is seeking an experienced and strategic Parts Manager to lead our growing Parts Division. Reporting directly to the Chief Operating Officer, this role plays a key part in driving growth, profitability, and operational excellence. The Parts Manager will oversee all aspects of parts sales, inventory, vendor management, and customer service, while leading a high-performing team dedicated to delivering exceptional results. The ideal candidate is both a hands-on leader and strategic thinker, capable of optimizing performance, building strong relationships, and supporting the company’s broader business goals. Our Parts Division supports HVAC sales and service operations across British Columbia, providing critical components, technical support, and exceptional service to our customers and technicians.

 

Responsibilities:

The following is a list of the essential duties and responsibilities of this role. The tasks and time spent performing each task may vary as business needs require. Olympic International maintains the right to modify job duties and responsibilities at its discretion.  The range of specific responsibilities will include but not be limited to the following:
Strategic Leadership & Team Management:

  • Lead, mentor, and inspire the Parts team to achieve excellence in service, efficiency, and sales performance.
  • Develop and execute annual business and growth plans aligned with company objectives.
  • Foster collaboration and accountability, ensuring the team operates with integrity, partnership, and a customer-first mindset.
  • Recruit, train, and develop team members to support their professional growth and deliver business success.

Sales Growth & Profitability:

  • Develop and implement sales strategies to grow HVAC parts revenue and improve margins.
  • Identify new market opportunities, product lines, and vendor partnerships to expand offerings.
  • Partner with marketing to design targeted campaigns and seasonal promotions that drive sales results.

Warehouse, Inventory & Vendor Management:

  • Oversee inventory and warehouse operations to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and safety.
  • Manage supplier relationships to secure competitive pricing, dependable delivery, and strong partnerships.
  • Continuously improve forecasting, stock rotation, and operational processes to support profitability and customer satisfaction.

Financial Oversight & Reporting:

  • Manage departmental budgets, monitor financial performance, and maintain appropriate inventory levels.
  • Analyze data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
  • Recommend and implement corrective actions to ensure ongoing profitability.

Customer Service & Product Knowledge:

  • Collaborate with internal sales teams to support customer needs and strengthen relationships with HVAC contractors and partners.
  • Ensure accurate product information, timely deliveries, and exceptional customer service at every touchpoint.
  • Maintain a deep understanding of HVAC parts, tools, and systems to provide informed recommendations.

Skills and Competencies:

Required
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Knowledge of HVAC parts, tools, equipment, and systems.
  • Proven success in driving sales growth and improving operational efficiency.
  • Excellent communication, organization, and relationship-building abilities.
  • Financial acumen and experience managing budgets and sales targets.
  • Ability to lift and move HVAC parts and work in a warehouse setting when necessary.

Educational Requirements:

Education, Licenses and/or Certification, Experience Required
  • 5+ years’ experience in parts management, business operations, or sales within the HVAC or related industry.
  • Degree, diploma or equivalent education / experience in Business, Supply Chain Management, or related field preferred; HVAC certifications or technical knowledge is highly desired.

Compensation: Base salary + bonus* (*conditions apply).
