We specialize in servicing and maintaining HVAC equipment, such as Daikin Comfort, Daikin Applied, Aermec, and various other products. We pride ourselves in being a top-tier HVAC solutions provider, promoting high-level customer service and industry-leading technological assistance.

Role Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Red Seal Journeyman HVAC/R Technician with a minimum of 5 years of experience to join our team in Vancouver, BC. The ideal candidate will possess in-depth knowledge of chillers, modular heat pumps, hydronic systems, VRV/VRF systems, design, controls, and building systems. The candidate must also have the ability to review mechanical schematics and shop drawings to a sufficient level.

Responsibilities:

The following is a list of the essential duties and responsibilities of this role. The tasks and time spent performing each task may vary as business needs require. Olympic International maintains the right to modify job duties and responsibilities at its discretion. The range of specific responsibilities will include but not be limited to the following:

Conducting installations, repairs, and maintenance of HVAC/R systems in residential, commercial, and industrial settings.
Performing diagnostic tests and identifying problems with the HVAC/R systems.
Conducting regular maintenance and upkeep of HVAC/R systems.
Providing exceptional customer service and communication with clients.
Liaising with the project management team to ensure all work is completed on time and on budget.
Performs additional responsibilities as assigned.

Skills and Competencies:

Required

Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
Strong knowledge of mechanical schematics and shop drawings.
Understanding of sales processes.

Educational Requirements:

Education, Licenses and/or Certification, Experience Required

Red Seal Journeyman certification in HVAC/R with a minimum of 5 years of experience.
Valid class 5 driver’s license.
