University of British Columbia’s Life Sciences Centre located in Vancouver includes a 510,000 sq. ft. teaching and research facility purposed for the study of life sciences. Olympic International supplied over a 1 million Cubic Feet per Minute of Scott Springfield Custom and McQuay Packaged Air Handlers, along with over 1 Million CFM in Strobic Lab Exhaust Fans, making it the second largest Lab Exhaust System in North America. Olympic Controls supplied fume-hood controls systems for the lab, critical air flow controls for a 30,000 square foot Level 3 Containment Lab and environmental controls for 200,000 square feet of Vivarium (Animal Care Facility). This building was certified LEED Gold.
